Lucas D. Lynch
Lucas D. Lynch is composer, pianist, conductor, musical director and producer. He studied his Bachelor and Masters of music degrees from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and is now completing his doctorate. He is a producer and musical director of Gateway Theatre Productions (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, THE WIZARD OF OZ), Lynch & Paterson (LUSH, A NIGHT WITH BERNSTEIN, LOVE STRUCK) and Cadenza Chamber Players (CLASSIQUE SERIES, THE MAGIC FLUTE). He has also musically directed and conducted GREASE, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE LITTLE MERMAID, MARY POPPINS, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. In 2019 he is the guest pianist and assistant conductor for Queensland Ballet's Dangerous Liaisons.
Samantha Paterson is an experienced and innovative musician. She is both a performer and musical director in the musical theatre and cabaret industry. Her musical direction credits include Harvest Rain Theatre Company's GREASE ARENA EXPERIENCE (national tour) as Assistant Musical Director/Band Leader, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, MARY POPPINS, and MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL (national tour). She has worked with the likes of Philip Quast, Matthew Lee Robinson, Dami Im, Christine Anu, Jemma Rix and Courtney Act. Her passion for bringing new life to existing works has led to great response, and as a result Samantha is often commissioned to compose/arrange for choir and theatrical companies around Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. She also works as a repetiteur for masterclasses and workshops, and teaches at her own private music studio. Her performance credits include HAIRSPRAY ARENA SPECTACULAR (national tour), PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, OKLAHOMA, THE WIZARD OF OZ, GREASE, MY FAIR LADY, THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, LEGALLY BLONDE, LITTLE WOMEN, and URINETOWN. Sam is also a member of pop-opera quartet Belladiva, performing at over 30 venues on a recent Queensland tour, and she performs regularly with Vavachi Entertainment under multiple styles.
